Young Minds UK Give Their Support To #7w7d

Following on from our successful DiabetesUK facebook Q&A on Wednesday, another one of our pledged charities, YoungMinds UK, has given their full support to the 7 Wonders in 7 Days project.

In a press release yesterday Chief Executive of the young people’s charity Sarah Brennan gave her full and enthusiastic support to Chi-Chi’s ‘amazing and innovative idea’.

It’s needless to say that both Chi-Chi and the 7 Wonders in 7 Days team are extremely thrilled to have their fundraising efforts featured and praised so highly by such a prominent and exemplary cause.

The charity, which was founded in 1989 by Peter Wilson and Marion Bennathan, concentrates on improving the emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people and aims to raise money primarily to help those effected deal with depression, self-harm and eating disorders.

Chi-Chi is particularly pleased to have them onboard for this ambitious project because of her experiences in helping friends deal with depression.

Once again, just like YoungMinds UK (follow @YoungMindsUK), we’d like to urge you to enter our fantastic once-in-a-lifetime competition to visit one of the newly crowned 7 Wonders of the World by visiting our entry page and creating a simple 60 second video about what you would give as a dream donation to one of the seven charities we are supporting.

In addition, we’d like you to please give what you can through our donation page, where your donation will be split seven ways amongst our supported charities, including YoungMinds UK.

Thank you for your support.
