Thanks so much for your detailed comment, Julian.

You know, the music idea sounds wonderful. Will push the last.fm group for 7 Wonders in 7 Days next week on Twitter. Will ask people to add tracks specifically from the 7 countries.

I’m definitely thinking about getting geolocative with the trip, was planning on using WP-Geo, a WordPress plugin that integrates Google Maps with blog posts and geo-tagging images on Flickr and other social media platforms that support it.

However, I hadn’t thought about it to the extent of carrying a GPS device. For some reason, I assumed that doing it via mobile would suffice.

Will definitely look into that.

Hey Chi Chi,

I didn't get to see all of your talk on Tuesday but it looked as though you had a good turnout for it.

Some ideas:
If you are going to play music why don't you try and source music from the countries you are visiting. There is a lot of good music out there across many genres.

Get geolocative. It would be cool to watch your progress as you travel. This can be done in a number of ways. Using mobile data (This could be V expensive outside Europe, although not as bad as it used to be) Take a small GPS unit, like the ones that walkers use. With many of them they record progress and speed ready to upload when convenient. I have also seen people use them on aeroplanes as they are passive receivers unlike mobile phones.

If you do get Geo-Locative you can add a whole new dimension to fundraising - distance traveled, where will I be at a certain time etc.

Any way just a few thoughts
