Our Facebook And Twitter Q&A With Diabetes UK (Part 2)
Well, it’s the day after the big day and we’re still really excited by the response we received from yesterday’s facebook Q&A with Diabetes UK.
Jo Forrest (JoForrest69 on Twitter), who we met earlier in the day, left us wondering how healthy transport to distant destinations really is, and whether space for in-flight exercise should be a necessity (not only for those diagnosed with diabetes) rather than a luxury.
Crystal (CALPumper on Twitter) and Rachel (sammolsonkasey on Twitter) from the States also told us about their frustrations with inaccurate blood glucose readings. When traveling, of course, this can become an even bigger concern.
CheapOair, a New York based travel company, also got involved and we’ll be hoping to get more people involved in the project from across the pond in the future.
Once again, a really big heart-felt thank you to everyone who participated. Remember though, it’s never too late to have your say or air your opinion and we’re more than welcome for you to do so via our facebook page or get in contact with us on twitter.
This has all been in aid of an inspiring and ambitious project to see the new Seven Wonders of the World and raise money for seven different charities in the process. And Chi-Chi (the driving force behind this fundraising) is inviting YOU along to experience it with her!
Seven lucky individuals will be jetting off to one of these amazing sights with her in October.
So if you have ever wanted to visit India’s crown-jewel, the Taj Mahal, or the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China, the incredible Colosseum in Rome, or the astonishing Chichen Itza in Mexico, or the gigantic Christ Redeemer in Brazil, or perhaps the mysterious Macchu Picchu, or even the magnificent stonework of Petra, Jordan, now is your chance!
Enter here by simply uploading a 60 second video and you could be on the trip of a lifetime.
And finally, please remember to donate what you can to the seven charities we are supporting with this never-been-done-before project.
