Kind words of support from a new friend made on Social Media Day
Check out some heartwarming support for 7 Wonders in 7 Days by someone who attended last night’s Social Media Day celebrations at the Manchester Mashable Meetup. Thank you Heathen Storm! You cheered me up muchly on a very busy day!
More vital, in my opinion, was the presentation by Chi-chi Ekweozor from Real Fresh TV. She is attempting to visit the Seven New Wonders of the World in seven days this October, to raise money for seven charities. Although I’m the first to confess a healthy cynicism, I could not help but be warmed by her enthusiasm and determination.
It’s a crazy endeavour. And the world needs more crazy endeavours, especially when a lot of good can come out of them. Not only that, but there’s a fascinating competition to join her on her travels. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in taking part, but that’s the wanderlust talking! Spread the word!
