<itunes:summary>Hello and Welcome.

7 Songs in the Key of Life is the 7 Wonders in 7 Days video podcast.

What is it?

7 Songs in the Key of Life is a video podcast created from the 7 Wonders in 7 Days monthly music fundraisers for Alzheimer’s charity, Alzheimer’s Research Trust in Manchester, UK.

It’s a video teaser created from an evening of music featuring 4 or 5 amazing bands from Greater Manchester, plus a handful of interviews and lots of incredible live music.

What is 7 Wonders in 7 Days?

7 Wonders in 7 Days is Manchester business woman Chi-chi Ekweozor’s round the world charity fundraising challenge to raise £777,000 for 7 charities by visiting the 7 new wonders of the world in 7 days in October 2010.

The 7 charities are:
Alzheimer\'s Research Trust | Diabetes UK | Open Doors | British Red Cross | Comic Relief (through Sport Relief 2010) | Feed The Minds | Young Minds

The 7 new wonders of the world are:
Chichen Itza, Mexico | Christ the Redeemer, Brazil | Colosseum, Rome, Italy | Great Wall of China, Republic of China | Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Peru | Petra, Jordan | Taj Mahal, Agra, India

She sets off on 10th October 2010. Follow her progress as she prepares and embarks on the journey at www.7wondersin7days.com and find out how you can join her!

The 7 Wonders in 7 Days project aims to raise the profile of an educational charity being started by Chi-chi’s parents in memory of her grandmother whose death from complications arising from Alzheimer’s inspired the whole trip.</itunes:summary>

BFBS Radio is widely available on the web (Click here to listen live online now), on DAB Digital Radio, on Freesat Channel 786, and on Sky Guide number 0211. From 9am onwards the breakfast show goes worldwide, broadcasting to more than 20 countries around the world from the UK to Brunei, from Afganistan to Nepal.
Lynne – Chi-Chi’s host and pop quiz daemon – has been broadcasting for the Forces for over 10 years and has been lucky enough to work in Belize, Northern Ireland and Germany, along with the UK – a very respectable tour of duty we feel, but one we hope to beat it come July. Now Lynne takes the helm of the Breakfast show every weekday morning from 7am and even does TV stuff every other Wednesday as BFBS’s Entertainment Correspondent. We can only hope that this has given her enough experience to handle Chi-Chi!

If you’re in work, however, have no fear! We’ll be uploading the full interview afterward for you to attend to at your leisure.

As we’re still looking for a final travel companion Chi-Chi will be sounding the call on-air to get some of Lynne’s lovely listeners involved.
