Do You Love Travel? Do You Have Diabetes? Join Our Facebook Q&A
Hey explorer…! Have you got an interesting travel story to tell? Do you have diabetes?
We’re looking for travel enthusiasts who suffer from the condition to join us at the UK’s first Facebook Q&A tomorrow.
We’re asking one simple question:
How Far Can You Travel With Diabetes?
Join us at the 7 Wonders in 7 Days page on Facebook tomorrow 18th August from 10am to 5pm with your answers.
Why are we doing this?
If you’ve got a great story to tell, we’d like to invite you to enter our competition to join charity fundraiser Chi-chi Ekweozor on her audacious round-the-world adventure, 7 Wonders in 7 Days.
Chi-chi is looking for seven lucky people to join her on the adventure in October.
The trip aims to raise £777,000 for seven charities including Diabetes UK through a never-been-done-before trip to visit the new seven wonders of the world in seven days. She is fundraising for the charity because her aunt and uncle both lost their sight as a result of having diabetes.
The new seven wonders of the world are the Taj Mahal in India, Great Wall of China, the Colosseum in Rome, Italy, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu in Peru and Petra in Jordan.
She is asking applicants to create a 60 second YouTube video about what you’d give as a dream donation to one of the seven charities and why.
Each lucky Travel Companion wins a three day holiday to one of the new seven wonders of the world.
The travel companions join Chi-chi’s fundraising page at Virgin Money Giving where friends and family can donate to the project throughout their trip and help Chi-chi achieve her fundraising target. Find out more about the trip at www.7wondersin7days.com
Join us tomorrow on Facebook from 10am to discuss how ‘How Far Can You Travel With Diabetes?’
