It was lovely meeting respected radio presenter Becky Want on Tuesday.

As we chatted before going on air, she was genuinely interested in the trip and thought it would get press coverage over the traditionally quiet summer months, maybe even a front page on the Manchester Evening News.

Her producer Lawrence asked me to get in touch after the trip as he was sure I’d have stories to tell.

She also told me to contact the woman who inspired the trip: Edinburgh millionaire Jennifer Cheyne, which I will be doing.  Jennifer Cheyne was featured on the episode of Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire show which kickstarted this whole adventure.
